Blog

The Ranger Diaries blog has now shifted in a slightly different direction to previous years in the form of a shorter, more habitual and traditional diary entry. This format gives me the platform to share more nature stories in real time. Visit my diary - get inspired by nature and join me on a journey through the seasons.

Of course, you can still peruse all of my former, more extensive writings below by exploring the blog archive or simply by searching for the topic of your choice.

Otter Spotter

Nick Wilson-Smith October 24, 2020

Alas, it just wasn’t meant to be. So, I left that Sunday morning feeling disappointed, but in all honesty not surprised. I recorded my negative presence data and that was that. Or so I thought.”
